I HAVE A CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT! Fall is here and so is something new that I am doing for the entirety of this month. I am running a contest for anyone who signs up for my weekly newsletter this month until October 31st. If you are reading this and are saying to yourself, “Wait a minute, I’m already signed up!”. Fear not my friends, you are already in the running and don’t need to do anything further to win. The winner will be picked randomly from a drawing on Nov 2nd and notified. I know what you are thinking, “What’s the prize?”. Well, hold your horses, because here is the best part. The winner will receive a personal oil painting portrait of themselves or a loved one (provided the photo is of acceptable detail and quality). I know it’s a crazy idea, why would I do something like this? The answer is rather simple, social media is fracturing, people are moving on to other platforms or dropping off of social media entirely. I totally understand this and want to let you know there is a way to keep up and in touch with my latest work and musings as an artist. I’ve been writing a weekly e-newsletter and have been featuring all my latest paintings first before posting on various social media. I love hearing from you all and feel this is a more personal way to share my work and process along with new paintings. I am not leaving social media as of now, however if you don’t want to sign up, you can always go to my blog on my site to see the latest work as well. But sadly, you’ll miss out on getting a cool portrait, so sign up if you want to get in! So that’s it in a nutshell, I just want to stay in touch and make sure you get to see all my latest work. No weird algorithms, no politics or stupid jokes, just my latest paintings and news about shows and exhibitions.

Contest Rules: Must sign up or already be on the mailing list as of Nov 1st, 12:01am 2019. Painting will be oil on a 9x12 canvas. Contest winner can opt to have a portrait of a friend or family member, yes including pets, provided that the photo provided is of high quality in definition and detail. Delivery of portrait will be made in person, if local. If painting needs to be shipped, the winner will have to pay for shipping all packing and shipping costs. Winner must respond within 48 hours from time of prize notification, or another winner will be chosen.
